The year 1992 was when Amanda Bossard began her study of marine biology in Anchorage at Alaska Pacific University. Bossard began her career in the industry of commercial seafood in 1999. At the time, she worked in Murat Aritan's halibut 65 feet vessel, later converted into a fish tender. Bossard and Aritan have been married since 1993 and have come together in claiming their share of their industry.
